Get involved
Refactor runs on people who show up early and stack the chairs after. Here's where we need hands.
Volunteer
Help run the events
Most of what makes an event good is invisible work. None of it requires a sponsorship check — showing up is the contribution.
- Greet people and run check-in at the door
- Run the livestream and AV
- Edit and publish recordings afterward
- Set up and tear down
Host
Offer a venue
We need space for 30–80 people and a reliable projector, once a month on the second Thursday. Hosting is its own form of support — no sponsorship required.
Offer a spaceSpeak
Get on stage
Built something interesting, hit a wall you learned from, or have a nuanced take on something everyone else has a hot take about? We want to hear it.
Propose a talkSponsor
Keep it free
Companies and individuals help cover venue, livestream, and the costs that keep every event free — with no strings attached and no stage for sale.
How sponsorship worksThe short version
Refactor is a non-profit. There are no investors, no revenue targets, and no reason to compromise the format for a check. Every way of getting involved is a way of keeping it that way — and the most valuable one is simply showing up and bringing someone you'd want in the room.
